Peking Duck

Peking duck is a famous dish in Beijing with a world-famous reputation. It originated from the Southern and Northern Dynasties of China. It is made of high-quality meat duck, Beijing duck. It is roasted on charcoal fire, the color is ruddy, the meat is fat and not greasy, and the outside is crisp and tender. Quanjude is a famous peking-duck restaurant in China.

About its authentic versions of the dish serving, mostly the skin and little meat, sliced in front of the diners by the cook. Ducks bred specially for the dish are slaughtered after 65 days and seasoned before being roasted in a closed or hung oven. The meat is often eaten with spring onion, cucumber and sweet bean sauce with pancakes rolled around the fillings. Sometimes pickled radish is also inside, and other sauces (like hoisin sauce) can be used.


Noodles with Soy Bean Paste,Beijing Style (Zhajiang Noodles)

It is a Chinese dish consisting of thick wheat noodles topped with zhajiang sauce. Zhajiang sauce is normally made by simmering stir-fried ground pork or beef with salty fermented soybean paste. Zhajiang also means "fried sauce" in Chinese. The topping of the noodles usually are sliced fresh or/and pickled vegetables, including cucumber, radish, edamame, depending on regions. Chopped omelette or in lieu of extra firm tofu can also be alongside.

It is worth noting that the noodles are more delicious if they are soaked in cold water.


Daoxiangcun

In fact, it is not a kind of food, but a famous pastry brand in Beijing. There are many kinds of pastries here, and many of them are said to be ancient foods from ancient palaces.

The pastries here are roasted, steamed, fried and tasteful. People from other cities will definitely buy some cakes here as gifts for their families.
